User Notifications

Overview

Each user can create custom notifications in Text Groove. Notifications are off by default, but you can turn them on and choose when, how, and where you'd like to be notified.

Turning on Notifications

  1. Log in to your account.

  2. Go to the Main Sender Window and click the Notifications button in the top shortcuts bar.

  3. Click the green Add Notification button to create a new one.




Notification Options

When creating a notification, you can choose:

When to notify

  • Always

  • Offline and Away

  • Away

  • Offline

How often to notify

  • Every message

  • Every 15 minutes

  • Once an hour

  • Every 8 hours

  • Every day

Allow Notifications

  • Set specific days and times when you want to receive notifications.

Notification Channel

  • Email

  • Slack

  • Browser

Once you've configured your preferences, click the green Add Notification button at the bottom to activate it.

You can return to this page anytime to edit or delete your custom notifications.
