Overview
When setting up a keyword in the Keywords App, you’ll choose from three match types: Exact, Perfect, and Relative. By default, keyword matching is not case-sensitive. For most situations, we recommend using Exact Match.
Exact Match
The keyword must appear exactly as written, but it can be part of a longer message.
✅ Will match:
"Win - Christy"
"Win - I LOVE YOUR STATION!!!"
? Will not match:
"Winning is fun"
"Can I enter to win something?"
Perfect Match
The keyword must be the entire message, with no other text before or after it.
✅ Will match:
"Win"
"win"
"WIN"
? Will not match:
"Win - Christy"
"I hope I win!"
"The Canucks are winning"
Relative Match
The keyword can appear anywhere in the message, even inside other words.
✅ Will match:
"The Canucks are winning"
"I just want to win something"
"Winning feels great"
? Will not match:
Messages that do not contain the word "win" anywhere
