Overview

Need to find a message, contact, or keyword? Text Groove gives you multiple ways to search - by name, number, or message content. You can search a single conversation or scan across your entire organization.

Profile Search

In the Main Sender Window, go to your Profiles (Inbox View).

Click the Search icon.
Type in the name or phone number.
Press Enter or click the search button.

This will open the selected profile and display their messages in the center chat panel.

Message Search (Main Sender Window)

You can search message content inside an individual conversation.

Select a profile in the Main Sender Window.
In the chat panel, click the Search icon.
Type a word or phrase to search for within that conversation.
Press Enter. Matching messages will be highlighted in the panel.

This search only looks within that one profile’s message history.

Message Search (Insights Tab)

To search across your entire organization:

Go to the Left Side Menu, then click Insights > Message Search.
Use the filters to narrow your results:

Start and End Date - Set the time range for your search.
Include Hidden Messages - Turn this on to include messages from keywords, auto replies, Text Clubs, and more.
Senders - Choose which phone number to search.
Direction - Search incoming, outgoing, or both types of messages.
Message Content - Enter a word, phrase, number, or sentence.
Message Type - Filter by text, image, audio, or video.
Phone Number Filter - Search messages from a specific end user.

Click the blue Search button.
Review your results. You can export the list if needed.
