Overview
Replacement fields help you personalize your messages quickly and easily. They pull contact information from the Contact Info panel and can be used throughout Text Groove. Whether you're sending one-off messages or setting up auto replies, replacement fields save time while keeping things personal.
How to Use Replacement Fields
Open a message in the Main Sender Window.
Make sure the contact has details filled out in their Contact Info panel (such as name, email, or location).
Click the replacement icon under the message box.
Choose the field you want to use.
Available options:
Contact Fields:
[full_name], [first_name], [last_name], [email], [location]User Fields (that’s you):
[my_name], [my_email]
? Just type your message and insert the field where you want it.
Example:
Hey [first_name], thanks so much for listening. We’ll get your song request up next! ?
Hints and Tips
Replacement fields work best in automatic replies, like when you’re running a contest or using a keyword.
Example:
Thanks [first_name]. You’ve been entered to win the tickets.These fields only work if the Contact Info panel is filled out. Double-check that names and emails are correct. Use proper names in the name field and leave nicknames or fun facts for the Notes section.
You can use replacement fields as often as you like. There’s no limit.
