Add or Edit Contact Information

Overview

Keep your listener database up to date by adding or editing contact info in Text Groove. You can store details like name, number, email, location, and other helpful notes that make future conversations easier.

The Notes section is especially useful for keeping personal context. For example, you might note:

• Favourite band
• Contest wins
• Neighbourhoods they frequent
• Client status with the station
  
  

This info is visible to your team and can be updated anytime.

How to Add or Edit a Contact

Option 1: From a Conversation

1. Open a message from the contact in the Main Sender Window.
2. If you're on a desktop, look to the right panel. You’ll see the Edit Profile section.
   
   
   
   
3. Update any contact fields as needed.
4. Click Save Contact when you're done.
   
   

Option 2: From the Contacts Tab

1. Click Contacts in the left menu.
   
   
   
   
2. Find the contact and click the blue Edit Contact icon beside their name or number.
   
   
   
   
3. Make your updates, then hit Edit Contact.
   
   

On a Mobile Device? Tap the Edit Contact button at the top right of your screen while viewing a conversation.
